Hindu Wedding
This is the grand finale to our week of wedding celebrations and the most significant ceremony of them all. The wedding will be a traditional Hindu ritual where the bride & groom will be married under a beautifully decorated wedding canopy known as a “Mandap” – the place where most of the wedding ceremony is held. It is within this sanctified edifice that the auspicious ceremony takes place around the sacred fire.
As our guest you will be seated around the Mandap giving you a wonderful view of the entire event.
The Mandap ceremony is the pinnacle of the Hindu customs and is a joyful vibrant and colourful experience.
Reception
After the Ceremony you will be escorted to the spectacular Sheraton Sky Garden - a cocktail bar area surrounded by a swimming pool, where you will enjoy pre-dinner cocktails and canape starters.
After a couple of hours you can take your place in the International Suite ready for the party to begin!!
There will not be a formal seating plan - to make things easy, all the tables will have either "Guest of the BRIDE" or "Guest of the GROOM" - please take a seat from whichever party you have been invited from.
You can then look forward to a night of dance, music and entertainment.
CAR PARKING
You will be excempt from paying any car park charges, as our guest.
DRESS CODE
Indian wedding are extremely glamorous affairs with beautiful, flamboyant outfits in vibrant colours.
Ladies - We would recommend you wear either Asian traditional Sarees/Suits or Western cocktail dresses or trouser suits
CUISINE
A sumptious 3 course meal with mouth watering dishes will be served by award winning Madhus . The cuisine will be Indian with a variety of veg and non-veg mouthwatering dishes
